Today, I am going to use our projector in a very unusual way. When you see it, try not to think “projector”; instead, think “source of light in an allegorical cave that perfectly illustrates Plato’s understanding of reality.”
Who is Plato, you ask? How about Socrates? Aristotle? According to this guy, they weren’t very bright.

Here is what we will do today:
- Reenact the Allegory of the Cave
- In the tradition of Socrates, we will discuss an important question: What is School For?
- In the remaining minutes, I will give you time to research one of the topics below. Whatever your choice, your work must help us answer the question What is the Legacy of Greece?
- the death of Socrates
