Today, we will examine the relationship between the people and the establishment, and how some have attempted to change the way things are. We will consider the following:
- How Sir Ken Robinson has called for a change to Educational Paradigms (hopefully, this will help you understand how difficult change can be, especially when the proposed changes are contrary to convention and practice)
- How your satire can serve as a call to change (remember your homework)
- What, exactly, was the paradigm in France that needed changing? This will be in lecture format.
- We should also look at images of Versailles.
In the remaining time, we need to discuss our timelines. Should we return to the timelines? If not, what tools should we use to help you focus your understanding?
