In order to teach others about your area of study, you need to conduct thorough, accurate, and focused research. Because we conducted some preliminary work last week, we can move past the initial stages. This means that general internet searches are not necessary.
Remember, too, that your use of sources will be assessed as part of your annotated bibliography.
Start with the following sources:
- the databases available through the library website
- google books
- google scholar
- BBC history
- websites with the domain name .edu (remember to double-check the author’s credentials!)
Want to raise your game? Try the following:
- MIT offers some lecture notes for history courses. Check to see if there is something for you.
- look at museum websites. Some have excellent resources about their holdings.
