CHW 3M: Game Playing, Game Creation

We need to start thinking about our video game production. Our goal is to produce a video game that will help its creators (you) and its players (the millions around the world who will be fascinated about your work) understand life in ancient Egypt.

Let’s start by learning more about Egypt, courtesy of BBC history. Even if you have played these games, you need to play them again. Your goal is twofold:

  • to learn more about mummification and pyramid creation, and to organize your understanding in a way that is appropriate (OneNote?)
  • to think critically and creatively about the way you are learning. How did the game creators balance learning and engagement?
